This initiative offers young Indian professionals a unique opportunity to live, work and experience life in the UK for two years.
What is the India Young Professionals Scheme?
Launched under the UK-India Migration and Mobility Partnership, the India Young Professionals Scheme is a reciprocal visa program. Annually, it permits 3,000 Indian citizens to reside and work in the UK, fostering cultural ties and professional growth between the two nations.
Qualifying criteria
To assess for this scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age: Between 18 and 30 years.
Nationality: Indian citizen.
Education: Use a bachelor’s degree or higher (regulated qualifying levels levels 6, 7 or 8).
Financial stability: Nearly at least £ 2,530 in savings, at least maintained for 28 days.
Depending: Children under the age of 18 live with you or for whom you are financially responsible.
Application process
The journey starts with a voting system:
Bellet Entry: Twice a year, in February and July, the British government opens a ballot. Interested candidates present their details during this period.
Velce warning: Successful entry is informed via e -post within two weeks of the closure of the ballot paper.
Visa application: Selected persons have 30 days from the notification date to apply for a visa, including payment of application fee (£ 298) and the health care system (£ 940).
For example, the upcoming ballot will be opened at 14:30 February 18, 2025, and closes at IST at 14:30 February 20, 2025.
